Ye Olde Rave follows the journey of a benedictine monk who is cast out from his abbey after sharing his heretical polyphonic vision. Marked by 4 monologues and 1 hour of dance music, ye olde rave is heavily inspired by Hildegard von Bingen and supported by months of research into medieval church music.

Cosmic Itch channeled the works of Ryoji Ikeda, Harlan Ellison and imagery from Heavy Metal Magazine to create a set equal parts alientating and irresistably danceable. Max MSP
Cosmic Itch has also created a number of Max4Live patches to accompany his performances. With a background in computer science, Max MSP presents no obstacle to expression. These reactive textures only serve as an introduction.
Itch has found that the real fertile ground is in the gathering of source material. He spends hours surfing strange content on archive.org and chops and mangles it with python scripts to create audio collages and audio-visual experiences. Please reach out via email for more demos.
